Well first of all, everyone make mistakes. He didnt kill anyone or hurt anyone but he absolutely could of. Why shouldnt she give him another chance. I think he deserves another chance. I dont think he will be a threat to society either. He can go through rehab if he has a drinking problem. He did not hurt no one so i think he should get another chance.
she should definitely give her dad a second chance because he didnt hurt or kill anyone he maid his mistake and got the time for it he learned his lesson so why cant he get a second chance?
Everyone deserves a second chance. Also, i believe that if her father honestly has changed then she should deffinately give him a second chance, especially since he is her father.
As I have already posted my two required comments, I will simple say this:
Why does anybody care? Seriously... does it matter at all to anybody but Lohan? Reserve your opinions for things that matter.
he just wants the money. i really think that other then that this is stupid only reason we even know is because his daughter is "special" that is b/s. second chances for what you shouldnt get a second chance if you mess up something as important as being a dad
EVERYBODY makes mistakes and nobody was killed or injured to badly. if you think about it im pretty sure that he has learned his lesson.if he wants to get his relationship back with his daughter then all the power to him.
Yes, i think that she should give her father another chance because he has served his time. If he is putting forth the effort, not saying she should just become daddy's little girl but they can still have a relationship. Everyone deserves a second chance. No he really isn't a threat, but if Lindsay doesn't want to lose her dad again she should tell her dad it would make her happy if he didn't drink or at least have a ride home.
I don't understand, the man that helped raised her for 18 years, or however many, suddenly makes a mistake of drinking and drivin, and all of a sudden it makes him a bad person? NO! Everybody makes a mistake, and I think that just because it's a celebrities father, that the media is blowin this all out of proportion. I don't know about you, but everytime I see a yellow liscense plate, I don't automatically look down on that person; if anything, I become more aware and conscious of their driving. So yeah, I do think that Lindsay should give him another chance (as if he lost his first chance?).
i think that he definately deserves another chance. if my dad went to jail for drunk driving i would give him another chance because he is someone i love and care about and want to have a good relationship with. everyone makes mistakes and should be forgiven.
I think linsdey should give her dad a chance.. I mean you only have one father in your life. and he didnt nessecarilly hurt her. Shes old enough by now to understand that he didnt just pick up and leave. Yeah, he mad a mistake that could have easily been prevented. but thats no reason to Cut someone out of your life. And Linsdey doesnt really have any room to judge people one mistakes. and i think anyone deserves at least a second chance. but i dont see him as a death threat. im sure that being in jail for two years has definately mad him think twice about what he did.
And i just wanted to add that i read what "gporter" has commented, i would like to know why he is being hypocrital and making biased comments on a blog. When people are trying to start simple discussions for class points. If you really have probelm with the article.. you should be smart and mature enough to not read the aricle, and surely not comment on the blog.
I think that Lindsay should give her dad a second chance. I mean she shouldn't forget what he did and could have done while driving drunk, but try to give him another chance to prove himself that he does care for her and isn't just doing this for the attention.
i think he deserves a second chance and that Lindsay needs to look past it because her dad is not the first person to ever drink and drive. he did his time for it and people need to get over it. he also might just want some of her money but what celebrity's parents don't?? He is her father and raised her from a baby, so i honestly think he already deserves some of the money from everything he ever did for her.
In response to Miss Adeline, hypocrisy is defined as "a feigning to be what one is not or to believe what one does not". As such, nothing I said is hypocritical. Saying that I am a hypocrite for commenting on something I find to be stupid is like saying that you're a hypocrite for going to English class when you can't capitalize.
Also, being biased is simply having an opinion. You are biased. I am biased. Everyone is biased. Before you attempt to insult me or question my integrity try understanding what you speak of.
Also, no matter what I think on this article, the person who posted it will get their points.
I simply see this as being a non-issue. It only matters to anybody because she's in the limelight. I simply find it annoying that people post articles like this when it incites no debate or thought whatsoever. There are actual problems going on in the world and people post this fluff that has no true value to its presence. Lindsay Lohan's dad got out of prison. Whoopty-do. Two gay teens in Iran were recently executed. Did anybody post about that? No.
It's my opinion. Why do we do these blogs in the first place? To put our opinions out there for a grade. You may not like my opinion and may find it to be irrelevant, but it's my opinion and you should respect that as I respect yours. I don't think your opinion is very well thought out, but that's rather beside the point now, isn't it?
Furthermore, if you don't like my comment you should be smart and mature enough to not read the comment, and surely not comment on my comment.
I think that she should give her father another chance because everyone makes mistakes. I don't see any reason she wouldn't give her father another chance.
I do believe he deserves another chance. Everyone does; however, i dont think lindsey should forget what he did either. Everyone who drinks is a threat when they get into a car, so to single out just Mr. Lohan is wrong. Like I said before, he deserves a second chance, but we shouldnt forget what he did either.
I think everyone deserves a second chance because everyone makes mistakes. As long as people accept their mistakes and try to not let it happen again I think it is fine. I don't think he will be a danger as long as he stops driving drunk.
i think she should give her dad a second chance. yes, he could have killed someone or injured someone real bad, but he didnt. hopefully he learned his lesson and will not do it again. havent we all made mistakes in our lives? would you want to be forgiven? look at it that way instead of from your point of view.
i also agree with gporter. why does it matter? its stupid.
i think thta everyone diserves a second chance. he could have changed and he could get a better relationship with his daughter. however if he messes up again i most likely wouldnt be able to forgive him. actually i would be really upset with him for the firt offense but like i said people diserve second chances. its all up to what she wants to do. i think this could make a good or bad influence on her. it could help her have a better relationship or it could hurt it more.
Lohan's father does deserve another change because he wants to repair his relationship with her. If there is a conflict then they should seek counseling. Family is all you have, she shouldn't turn her back on it especially when it seems in every tabloid she is troubled. I think she'd always regret it if she never tries. I don't believe he is trying to get money from her, she is over the age of 18.
I definitely think Lindsay Lohan should give her father another chance to see if he really does want to change. I think that everyone makes mistakes, and no one was even killed, so she shouldn't hold anything too strongly against him. If he says he wants to change, she should give him another chance.
i think that lindsey should give her dad another chance. He made a mistake. even if it could have killed lots of people. i think he deserves a chance but if he tries to take her money she should draw the line. i don't like him but people deserve second chances.
Anybody see my point here? Everyone who commented said the same thing.
