i dont think that driving with a cell phone should be banned. there are some good things about cell phones and there are some bad. but if you have an emergency and need to get somewhere fast, you can't be trying to pull over and come to a complete stop before dialing a number. you just have to call on your way. there are some bad though like i dont think you should be talking to your friends about unimportant stuff while driving, you should be concentraiting on the road. but if cell phones were banned, id be in trouble for using them while i drive.

I dont think driving with a cell phone should be banned becuase i honestly dont think it is dangerous at all to drive with a cell phone unless ur speeding like an idiot then ur just dangerous to every one everytime that person drives! driving with a cell phone is fine but i dont think people should text while driving because then u have to look done at the phone in order to type.

i do not think that driving with a cell phone should be banned. it is a persons decision whether or not they drive with a cell phone. if they get in an accident it is their problem and they made that decision. they shouldnt also do this because cell phones are used in case of an emergency for some people and if there an emergency the time it would take to pull over could be a problem and could be percious time wasted. also i can understand how texting is bad while driving but talking onn a cell phone is not as bad yes it has its hazards but it just depends on how that person drives.

I disagree that driving with a cell phone should be banned, however; i think it would be fair to put restrictions on it even tho it would be hard to tell when people are following the rules. Talking on your cell phone while driving can be a very helpful thing if you need directions, or in case of any emergencies. Its not always that dangerous to talk on the phone as long as you can handle doing that while paying attention, but doing other stuff like texting while you drive shouldn't be allowed because that takes all your focus off the road, but it would be hard to ban people from completely using cell phones while they drive.

With all of the cell phone attachments that we have these days there is no reason to be driving with a cell phone pressed to your face. Whether you use a bluetooth or a simple headset, you can easily drive while talking on a cell phone.

I think that the use of a cellphone while driving should be banned only if the person does not have a remote headset to go with it. It's not as if the simple headsets are expensive. A bluetooth is pretty expensive, but the simple headset costs about $5.

driving and talking on your cell phone is a very bad habit and shouldnt be done. but that is the point of a cell phone to talk to people when you are not home. i dont think they should be banned, i just think there should be a big fine for talking and or texting on your cell while driving.

i think driving with a cell phone should be banned because i can say first hand that ive zoned off thinking about the conversation on the phone, but the thing i really need to stop is texting while im driving because theres not any if, ands, or buts about it, im not paying attention to the road when im looking at the screen.

i don't think that driving with a cell phone should be banned. there are other things more dangerous than talking on a cell phone and driving. if you have an emergency, then you need your cell to make some calls. cell phones shouldn't be banned, if they are, people will still talk on them when they drive.

I don't think that driving with a cell phone should be illegal. Sometimes cell phones can be dangerous when someone is completely focused on the conversation rather than the road. Other times they can be helpful for emergancies. Now with blue tooth and speaker phone it is safer. Texting is the most dangerous part of the situation. Bad things can happen because someone is looking at their phone instead of the road.

I don't think that talking on a cell phone while driving should be banned. First of all, I admit that I talk on the phone a lot when I drive. Honestly, as long as I keep my eyes focused on the road I'm fine. You don't need eyes to talk. I do, though, think that you should not be able to text while driving because then you have to look away from the road. Also, there are more important things that the police need to look for than cell phone use.

i dont think it should be illegal. I understand completely with what they are saying. Driving while on your cell phone is dangerous but you can still control how you drive. If cell phones are banned while driving then eating must be too. Sometimes you need to be on the phone when driving like for directions or something.

I think driving with a cell should be banned because it is very hazardous to meny people. I can't tell you how meny times I've seen people smoke, text, call, and drive all at the sametime. and just have a cellphone on you makes it even more tempting. I think it should be illegal unless you have a bluetooth or handsfree headset.

I think driving with cell phones should be banned for stupid people that do not know how to drive and talk on the cell phone at the same time!!! But other than that, no, I don't think that cell phones should be banned. In the car may be the only time that some people have time to talk to certain people. There are certain featurs that are basically on everybody's phone such as a speaker phone, or a bluetooth, or even a handsfree setting; these are the features that should be used on everyones phone.

that is stupid, why dont we not allow any talking at all while driving be aloud. while your at it take away the radio, cd, player, and anything else that could be "distraction". its stupid, just because stupid people need there eyes to talk on the phone we all suffer.

I do think that driving with a cell phone should be banned. When your driving with a cell phone your paying more attention to the cell phone than the road. It is just like driving and messing with your radio or driving when your drunk or under the influence of some thing. Your just not paying attention to what is important.

Yes I do think cell phones should be banned while driving. Not only is it dangerous to other drivers and pedestrians to be physically holding the cell phone but even the hands-free/bluetooth should be banned. the road doesn't have your undivided attention when you're using these devices. even with hands-free i still see people digging in their purses, suitcases, and center counsels just to find what the person on the phone is requesting. because it's hands-free it allows the person to add another task.

I think that it is one thing to be driving with a cell phone in the car but it is a different issue when you add the element of talking on the cell phone while you are driving.
I think that especially for teenaged drivers there are ususally enough distrations for them while they are driving and talking on a cell phone is just another distraction which makes the person using the cell phone more likely to wreck.
I think that if something is absolutely so important that you need to call someone while driving then you should pull over and make the call or have someone else do it for you.

I personally dont think that driving while using a cell phone should be banned. people use them all the time and even if you do ban them i garentee people will still use them so it would be a big hassel and after all said and done would be no gain just a big headache...

I think driving with a cell phone should be banned. It's dangerous, and the people who do it are a danger to everyone around them. I'm horrible at trying to talk on the phone and do something else at the same time, only because my hands aren't clear. Maybe if they had the phone down and were using a bluetooth or something it might be ok, but people who have the phones up to their ears are very dangerous because they cannot talk like that and drive at the same time, and they'll more than likely go down for the phone instead of keep their eyes on the road if they drop it.

i dont think that talking on a cell phone while driving should be banned. I dont think so because someone could be in an emeergency and need to talk to someone. If it were illegal than you would have to pull over and tlak to the person. Sometimes there just isnt enough time to do that. However I dont think that you should be allowed to be texting, because you have to lok at your phone.

I don't think cell phone should be banned only because they are used for emergencies. I think that maybe it should be illegal to hold a cell phone while driving. There are so many new little headsets and ear devices that would make driving and talking to someone at the same time easier. However, with a cell phone there will always be a distraction because of the conversation and your full concentration won't be on the road.

I don't think driving with a cell should be banned. Why isn't the radio banned then too? Its the same thing. If your lost and need to get call for directions you need to use your cell phone. Or in case of an emergency. If cell phones were banned i would be getting a ticket all the time tho.

I don't think driving while talking on the cell phone should be banned. If this were the case, driving with a passenger should be banned too because it's just as dangerous. Driving with a cell phone and talking on it is basically the same thing as driving with another person or people, except probably more dangerous because they're not only an auditory distraction, but oftentimes a visual distraction to the driver. I think if people are gonna act irresponsibly and not pay attention while on the phone, it's their own fault and they should pay the consequences.

i dont think that talking on your cell phone and driving should be illegal because it is the drivers responsibility. If they crash then as long as they know then it's there own fault.
