Yes, I feel that I am getting too little sleep on school nights. I am involved with many extra cirricular activites such as cheerleading, choir, speech, working, youth group, and many others. I get home almost every night at 8 and start my school work then. I am a perfectionist, therefore, my work won't be completed until I get it done to my standard. Thankfully, I have maintained a 3.8 with this lack of sleep throughout my high school years. Hopefully I didnt jinx myself.
Yes i may be getting too little sleep at night but I am okay with that. i have a full time job that i work 3:00pm to 11:00pm and i come home, eat, and get ready for bed then i get up for school about 5:30am. i do good in school and im okay with not getting enough sleep. It's the peoples chioce to not go to bed at a decent time or not. If they want to suffer then let them.
I have been goig to bed at many different times like the other night i went to bed at 12 and i feel fine in school and im not tired at all. The only time i get tired is if the class is boring or when i go home ill just take a nap. Sometimes i am really tired in school but not lack of sleep i think it is depending on how active i was the night before. I have really good grades in all my classes so no i dont think that not getting enough sleep for school is affecting me greatly.
Yes I think that it is true that the less sleep you get the worse you do in school. I know I get too little of sleep, I'm always falling asleep in my first class. I don't really think it's how late you go to bed just how early you have to get up. If the schools would just start a little bit later the students would be fine.
I think that i'm getting to little sleep in school. I attend Perry for a business program so a lot of times i have to go to my home school by time i get out of there it isn't till 8 or 9. I coach basketball, play basketball, very involed with my school. After i'm done with all this i like to hang out with my friends. So i make it a point to do something with them after my school duties and coaching. So i don't get home till 11 or 12 on school nights by time i do my homework play on the computer its late before i got to bed. I don't have to wake up till 7:45 tho so that helps me a little bit. This dosen't really affect my school grades just my attendence. But i mange my grades good.
I get very little sleep, even with the late time I get up in the morning. Usually I keep check so I go to bed sometime around 12, 12:30, but there are times I end up staying up until 1 in the morning doing work or the like. My grades are average, and I eat breakfast in the morning, but I wonder if I could do better if I was getting better sleep? In any case, I agree with goddess when she says that it is the person's choice. If they want to go to bed late, then that is their decision.
I feel during the school week i don't get nearly as much sleep that is needed. But thankfully I am able to coep with the lack of sleep and i am still able to get everything done that day that i need to get done. Even though i normally dont get home from work till about 10:30 every night, i still find time to do my homework study and keep my GPA up to where i believe it should be.
I am kind of both ways on this. i think it just depends on the person. I know that i do get a lack of sleep and i am still getting a's and b's in school. I have my good days and my bad days. there are days when i dont get enough sleep and i get a lower grade than usual. I know that some of my other friends who get lack of sleep do absolutely terrible in school. i just think that it all depends on the person whether or not they do poorly with lack of sleep. Sometimes what also affects my work is if the teacher is boring and i cant stand to pay attention and just loose my concentration so i dont think its all just lack of sleep.
I get good grades in school even though i stay up late quite often. I don't have a problem staying awake in class unless it is something that is particularly boreing. But i dont think that has anything to do with how much sleep i got the previous night.
