I love Taco Bell so it sounds good to me! I guess it's a positive thing for Taco Bell because they will get they're name out there, but does Taco Bell really need that kind of publicity? Everyone already knows who they are. The negative side would be the workers that have to make crazy amounts of Tacos if the base is stolen during the World Series. I don't think it's a big deal to use the World Series to get your business noticed. TV commercials and other businesses will be making money off of the World Series, so you can't blame Taco Bell for treating just getting their name out there. I hope a base is stolen cuz i love Taco Bell!

Taco Bell isn't wrong. It's a smart idea if you ask me! Great way to bring in hungry (maybe even new?!) customers.

But I think it's only good for companies who are just starting out.

Negative: taco bell already has all of the publicity they need, i mean, isn't the "yo quierro taco bell" enough....? It's got me thinking outside the bun. =] ? For taco bell, I think it's just a waste of money and product. Also, that's a lot of work for the employees.

Positive: It promotes the resturaunt (great for advertising!). They'll get more customers. They'll get happy customers.

Taco Bell giving away free tacos doesnt sound very trusting to me. I wouldn't want one of those tacos because they probably aren't going to be good so i think its a negative for taco Bell to do that but Positive for the World Series to use them. It's positive for the World Series because they make money just from millions of fans and sellig tickets already and they are just making more by using taco bell. Taco Bell could have a positive though because they are probably going to get new customers since the food is free so I think it is a good idea!

I'm not sure how it will up their business because I mean the tacos are free. They are going to have to buy alot more ingredients than normal and they won't make any profit on them. I don't think that it is wrong to use the World Series for their sale because like them, there are millions of other businesses using the World Series for business too. Hey whatever works.

i actually think this is a really smart idea.
i mean yes taco bell is already well known but they realize that most people aren't going to just come in to get one taco they will want other things as well. since taco bell is well known i'm sure they thought through all of this before they actually decided on it so they must hae more positives than negatives.

I hate Taco Bell so I really wouldnt care but it's a really good to get people to come in. Plus if people get a free taco, they will want something to go with that and it goes on like the If You Give A Mouse A Cookie book! People will always want more. I thinks its a good thing for them to use the World Series because it give the Series more publicity too. The only problem I see with it is that they are probably not going to be very good tacos becuase when companies give out free things they just have to put them together really quick because there will be so many people coming in.

That is one of the most amazing things i have ever heard. The fact that taco bell is doing this knowing that a stolen base is alomost gauranteed in the world series. I think this will help taco bell because who really goes to taco bell and just wants one taco. The people will go in and get a free taco and then buy more food. Taco Bell is amazing but free taco bell is even better.

I think this is pretty unnecessary for Taco Bell to do. It doesn't help or hurt them, people who are going to be walking in to Taco Bell at the certain time are most likely people that go there everyday anyway. Giving away all those free tacos is probably going to hurt them in the long run more than they think. It's a better concept for newer businesses who are more desparate for publicity. Not only that, but doesn't America have enough of an obesity problem?

Taco Bell, while good, is probably one of the worst fast food restaurants out there. (As far as health goes anyway) This is just a way to get ther product out there so people can say, "hey good tasting food for free...sounds good!" I don't see a problem with using the world series as a way to promote your store. Many food places support different teams and players. It is ultimately probably providing just as much advertisement to the sport of baseball than it is taco bell.

I think it is a very good idea...because they can then advertise their tacos, and some people may want a 2nd taco or somethin else from their menu, which will profit them. Then again, people may lie and say they need one for a friend, family member, etc... It is a great idea in my opinion though

It is a good idea for them to use the world series to create publicity. The world series is watched by millions of people and I know that millions of people would like a free taco. It just seems funny to me though because taco bell is already famous. Everyone knows taco bell. It just seems like something that a new fast food restaurant would do, not one that has been around for a long time and is already popular.

Well, obviously the free tacos will give Taco Bell some kind of business and it may draw new customers (those who have never eaten there and because the tacos are free they are willing to stop by and enjoy a free taco) and I am sure that many did not only get that free taco, they must've ordered nachos or a soda or something and that is not free, so they are getting business and money. I do think that it is fair because its advertising and "All's fair in love and business", right? So they just seized the oppurtunity to get their product out there.

I think this is a good idea for both Taco Bell and the broadcasting networks. If people really want a free taco, they will make sure they watch the game to see if they get one. Since tacos are cheap anyways, they aren't really losing much, while still promoting their products. A negative to this is that they still lose some money.
