It's her choice. Personally, nothing can stop me from drinking my delicious Starbucks coffee. Well, I may have to draw the line at, "Die, Greg. Die and go to hell." but I don't see that happening any time soon.
I'd put more input into this but the link provided doesn't work.
Like Greg said, it's her choice. Starbucks made the choice of putting a religious comment on the cup knowing that it might offend other religions. I also would say more about this, but the link is not linked.
its her own chioce, if she wants to give up coffee because of something they put on a cup. that may have offended her but it may not offened anyone else. its her life and she can do what she wants.
it is her choice and if she wants to give up the AMAZING coffee then more power to her. i understand where she is coming from but i think it is stupied to stop just for them putting a quote on a cup.
i would comment on another article but there is none so this counts for both.. right?!?!?!?
Regardless of what the qote said, if the woman wasn't comfortable with drinking out of the cup with that quote on it it's her perogative to stop drinking the coffee. It doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks about it, to her it's not stupid. I wouldn't participate in something I found offensive so I don't expect anyone else to.

In my opinion that is really stupid but it is the lady's choice. The quotes on the cups are from starbucks drinkers and one of them happens to be religious. The views on the cups are not necessarily those of starbucks so I don't see a problem. Starbucks did nothing wrong and I know that something like that would never keep from enjoying it.
it is up to her weather or not she drinks the coffee no one is stoping her from drinking it but herself and if she feels this strongly then she probably should not drink the coffee! i mean its her choice and personally i think it is stupid to stop drinking something you love just because you don't agree with a quote written on the cup! and seriously how long is the quote really gonna be on the cups prob. not very long because they will put new ones on so i really dont se the problem!
this is soo gay. its a cup with some words if that really affects your day that bad you should go kill yourself because you know that is such a horrible thing
id just bring my own cup and pour my starbucks into that if it was such a big deal. either that or just not read the cup. its still the same coffee as before but a few words is going to change her mind then her lose.
i also think it is the lady's own chocie to stop drinking it or not, but personally i think it is a dumb reason to. what it says on the side of a cup shouldnt effect whether or not you drink whats on the inside. hmmm. thats just silly. but also, i agree with what others have said that if it was directed towards me personally that is one way i would stop. but i love starbucks so, it wont keep me from drinking it.
hmmm.. there is no other ones to comment on soo ima just say random things about the article i couldnt read fully because the link wouldnt work...
i like starbucks coffee, wait scratch that i like starbucks cappucinno. and scratch that again, i L0VE starbucks cappucinno!!! lol. and i wouldnt give it up just because of a quote.
bye
I think that it is her decision to not drink Starbucks if it offends her. I don't think it is anyone else's business. Personally, I don't drink coffee or anything else from Starbucks.
I guess it really doesn't matter what is on the outside of the cup... as they say... it's what is on the inside that matters.
I really couldn't care less about one woman's coffee brand preference. I may have heard something I didn't agree with by the representative of a company which made me feel disinterest in their products. I don't see current events going up about that. Nobody made her read it, nobody made her agree with it. I garuntee she was going to throw it away anyways, therefore, any writing on the cup is practically irrelevant. All in all, this is "stupid."
i think its her choice to quit if she wants to. if she didnt like the comment then she can choose not not give them her money n drink thier coffee b/c of it. personally i would quit b/c of one qute b/c this is amazing coffee =)
It's her own personal choice. I don't think Starbuck's losing one person due to a quote on a cup is going to damage the business in a large way.
I agree with most who have commented. I don't think the loss of a few thousand customers is going to make an impact in their sales. there's millions of people who visit starbucks daily across America. They knew it might offend some people. You can't please everyone.
I think a quote on a cup would be a ridiculous reason to stop purchasing a product, but if she feels that offensed by the quote, it is her choice to stop drinking Starbucks. I personally wouldn't stop drinking it because of a religious quote, but then again, I usually have better/more important things to do than read a coffee cup.
I think that it is stupid to stop drinking Starbucks just because of the quote that was on the cup. It's not like it was a discriminatory quote or a harsh remark. That's ridicoulous.
I think thats halarious due to the fact that one quote caused a person to stop drinking starbucks. i will not stop drinking my Vanilla Bean Frapachino. becuase of a comment no matter what the extent.
